Suspicion of murder on contract:
SSP Satinder Singh said that the police has researched the modus operandi of the gangsters and got information about their new style of working. “We have learned that gangsters are now swapping places of their crime. In this case, we found that gangsters from Punjab had involved people operating in other states, i.e. Haryana and Delhi, to commit crimes in Punjab, so that the police could not identify them. This was the main reason why we took time to identify the culprits as they had no record in Punjab. At present, the police is working on the theory of contract killing. Police believe that gangsters from Punjab had given contracts to gangsters from Haryana and Delhi to carry out the crime.
