According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Satinder Singh, a team of Mohali Crime Investigation Agency has already raided suspected locations in Delhi and western Uttar Pradesh in search of two gangsters. The police have refused to reveal their names as it could hamper the investigation. SSP He said, “The delay happened because both the killers are not from Punjab region. Even the local criminals do not know about them. After a lot of effort and adding evidence and clues, we are able to identify them. Right now we will not reveal their names, but one of them is a gangster from Haryana and the other from Delhi.

Mohali police questioned three gangsters Sukhpreet Singh Alias Buddha, Aman Jattu and Bhupi Rana suspect their role in the case. SSP Satinder Singh said that the police has researched the modus operandi of the gangsters and got information about their new style of working. “We have learned that gangsters are now swapping places of their crime. In this case, we found that gangsters from Punjab had involved people operating in other states, i.e. Haryana and Delhi, to commit crimes in Punjab, so that the police could not identify them. This was the main reason why we took time to identify the culprits as they had no record in Punjab. At present, the police is working on the theory of contract killing. Police believe that gangsters from Punjab had given contracts to gangsters from Haryana and Delhi to carry out the crime.
