CERT-In, Ku collaborate to spread awareness on cyber security

Hyderabad: Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India and India’s multilingual micro-blogging platform Ku this October to jointly execute citizen outreach activity to create awareness on cyber security are doing. Which is celebrated as National Cyber ​​Security Awareness Month.

The collaboration aims to raise public awareness on the need to stay safe and secure online and leverage the theme – Do Your Part, #BeCyberSmart. The CERT-In and Ku app will promote awareness on issues such as phishing, hacking, personal information security, password and PIN management, avoid clickbait and protect one’s privacy while using public Wi-Fi.

Ku App will run this campaign in multiple Indian languages ​​to strengthen access among internet users across the country. Several competitions will be organized to increase engagement and knowledge sharing on this important topic.
