When is CUET-UG going to be held?

Unlike NEET, CUET will be conducted over multiple days. It is scheduled to take place on 15 July, 16, 19, 20, 4 to 8 August and 10 August.

How do I know on which date I have to appear for CUET-UG?

Will I be allowed to change the date or exam center allotted on the admit card?

No, as per the current instructions, candidates will not be able to change their exam date or the center allotted to them. However, in case of difficult or dire circumstances, a special concession may be given.

What is the pattern and structure of the exam?

CUET-UG is a computer based test with MCQs.

There are three sections- Section I (IA & IB) for Language Proficiency, Section II for Core Subject Knowledge and Section III for General Knowledge.

How long is the exam? Will there be separate exams for each of these sections?

CUET-UG will be conducted in multiple shifts. Morning shift will be conducted from 9 am to 12.15 pm and evening shift will be conducted from 3 pm to 6.45 pm. A candidate may have to appear for three classes in two days and not all in one day.

Will there be negative marking in CUET 2022?

Yes, there will be negative marking for wrong answers. Each wrong answer will result in a deduction of one mark, but no mark is deducted for leaving a question unanswered.
