CCTV footage of Bandipora attack: Pakistani terrorist attacked police party, tried to snatch weapons; Two overground workers also involved

On December 10, two Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel were martyred in a terrorist attack in north Kashmir’s Bandipora. The CCTV footage of this attack has surfaced. In the video, some people are running and a man wearing a pheran is seen running in a suspicious condition. This person is a Pakistani terrorist who carried out the attack. Kashmir’s Inspector General of Police (IGP) Vijay Kumar has also confirmed this CCTV footage in a conversation with Dainik Bhaskar.

Terrorist linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba
IGP Vijay Kumar told that Pakistani terrorists have a hand in the terrorist attack in Bandipora. According to the police, a Pakistani terrorist opened fire on the Personal Security Officer (PSO) of the SHO. He wanted to snatch the rifle of the PSO but could not do so due to the retaliatory action of the jawan. The attacker was associated with the terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. At the same time, two overground workers helped him in the attack. The search for both the workers is on.

This statement of Kashmir Police has come after the joint review meeting held in Bandipora. Official sources said that the police and CRPF team inspected the site of the attack. After this, the IGP has taken a meeting of Army, CRPF and Police officers.

Jammu and Kashmir Police said – will punish the terrorists
On December 10, terrorists attacked a police party at Gulshan Chowk in Bandipora. Two policemen Mohammad Sultan and Fayaz Ahmed were badly injured in this. Both the policemen died on the way to the hospital. After the incident, the video of the martyred policeman’s daughter crying also became quite viral. This video was retweeted by the Jammu and Kashmir Police from its Twitter handle and wrote – We are with the family members in this grief. We promise that the terrorists who made these children orphans will definitely bring them to the door of justice.

Mohammad Sultan was the only support of the family
Mohammad Sultan, who was martyred in the terrorist attack, was a resident of Dangerpora in Sopore. Four children are now orphaned behind him and the wife has become a widow. His old father is also in the house of Mohammad. After the martyrdom of Mohammad, his daughter has been in a bad condition. Family members told in conversation with Bhaskar that policeman Sultan was the only earner in the whole family, he had twins only 2-3 months ago.
