New Delhi: CBSE had started the application process for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET 2021) on September 20, 2021. The last date to apply for this exam is October 19, 2021. All eligible and interested candidates are encouraged to apply soon.
As per CBSE, CTET 2021 will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. This exam will be conducted in 20 languages across the country. Candidates who have completed their B.Ed, DELED and BLEd. are eligible to apply for the primary and secondary level of CTET 2021.
CTET 2021 Important Dates:
Online application starts: 20 September 2021
Last date for submission of application: October 19, 2021
Last date for submission of application fee: October 20, 2021
Date of Computer Based Examination: 16 December 2021 to 13 January 2022
Educational Prerequisites:
Candidates applying for the primary stage (Class 1 to 5) of CTET must have Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or B.Ed (B.Ed). Must have Diploma / Degree. ) with 50% marks.
Candidates applying for CTET secondary stage (Class 6 to 8) must have B.Ed or its equivalent with a Diploma/Degree with 50% marks. Kindly refer the official notification from CBSE to get more details regarding this.
Application fee:
For general and OBC category applicants applying for any stage (primary or secondary) the application fee is Rs. 700. For SC, ST and PWD candidates the fee is Rs. 350.
If one wishes to apply for both the stages (primary and secondary), then the application fee for general and OBC categories candidates is Rs. 1200 and Rs 600 for SC, ST and Divyang categories candidates. This fee can be paid online only.
