CBSE and ICSE term-1 exams are near. This exam will be conducted in offline mode. According to this, CBSE’s minor subject exams will be held from November 16, while the ICSE exams will start from November 22. Meanwhile, the confusion regarding the examination is also continuing. In the Supreme Court, six students of CBSE and ICSE have appealed, demanding to conduct the 10th and 12th exams in hybrid mode.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), both have announced to conduct the class 10 and 12 term-12 exams in offline mode.

Seek option to take board exam 2022 in hybrid mode

Students have filed a petition in the Supreme Court regarding the board exams of CBSE and CISCE. In the petition, a request has been made to conduct the exam in online mode. The students have demanded from the Supreme Court that a direction should be given to give an option to take the board exam 2022 in hybrid mode. In this regard, many students have also expressed their views on social media. A user named Naisha Naveen Srivastava, a student, tweeted and wrote that Life in Danger.

The risk of spreading Kovid-19 may increase

According to media reports, the students who filed the petition fear that the examinations in the board’s 2022 date sheet for major subjects are to be conducted continuously over three weeks and may increase the risk of spreading Kovid-19. Apart from this, online exams are also necessary to maintain social distancing. Therefore, there is a demand of the students that the examinations should be conducted in hybrid mode.

A sample of OMR answer sheet sent to schools for practice

Earlier, a few days before the CBSE Class 10th, 12th Term 1 exam, a sample OMR answer sheet has been sent to schools by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for practice. CBSE has already released the datesheet for Class 10th, 12th Board Exam 2022 Term 1. Class 12th and 10th exams will start from November 16 and 17. As per the guidelines issued by CBSE, students will be allowed to use only blue or black ballpoint pen to fill the OMR sheet.

Major subject exam schedule announced

About a month back, CBSE had announced the schedule of 22 major subject exams for Term-1 of class 10th and 12th. The 10th examination will be held from 30 November to 11 December while the 12th examination will be held from 1 December to 22 December. Board’s Controller of Examinations Dr. Sanyam Bhardwaj had told that the board has sent the datesheet of the minor subjects examination separately to all the schools. The examination of 12th minor subjects will start from 16th November and 10th from 17th November.

CBSE will have self centers in the first term exam or other centers will be made, it is going to be decided in a few days. According to the city coordinator, a decision in this regard will be taken after a meeting with the schools.
