The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced this CBSE Class 10th Board Exam Result 2023 Soon, Earlier in the day, CBSE declared the results of class 12th board exams. Students can check their scores on the official websites cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in or cbseresults.nic.in. CBSE ended the board exam results for class 10 on March 21, while class 12 students finished it on April 5. This year more than 39 lakh students appeared for the CBSE board exams. As per the reports, the board had conducted the exam for 191 subjects at more than 7,250 centres.
CBSE Board Exam Result 2023: Passing Criteria
To pass the CBSE board exam, students have to score at least 33 percent marks in each subject. As per the board’s guidelines, candidates are required to obtain a minimum of 33 per cent marks in 5 or more subjects – i.e. either 5 core subjects or 4 core subjects and 1 elective. It is to be noted that students need to obtain passing marks in both internal and external exams.
The internal examination papers consist of projects, assignments and class tests, while the external examination papers are the final examinations in which the students appear. In addition to this, a student is also expected to obtain passing marks in both internal and external examination papers.
Apart from the official websites, Students can check their result on DigiLocker and UMANG App, On the CBSE marksheet, details like name and personal information of the candidate, marks obtained in each subject and maximum marks for each subject, total marks obtained, pass/compartment status and other information.
