CBSE 10th, 12th Supplementary Exam 2023: Passing Marks in CBSE Board Exam 33% in Each Subject and Overall

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) The registrations for Class 10th and 12th supplementary exams will begin today, June 1, on the official website cbse.gov.in. Schools will be able to hand over the list of examinees to the board for the supplementary examination. Class 10 students can apply for a maximum of two subjects for supplementary exams and class 12 students can apply for one subject.

The passing marks in CBSE board exams are 33 per cent in each subject and overall. This year, the overall pass percentage for CBSE class 12th is 87.33 per cent while for 10th, it is 93.12 per cent. CBSE had revaluation and verification process opened From May 16 for class 10th and 12th.

Through this exam the students who have got less marks or are unhappy with their marks can improve their marks. The last date to fill the form is June 15. CBSE’s 10th and 12th supplementary examinations will be held in July this year. The exam was earlier called compartment exam but now it has been changed to supplementary exam. There is no change in the eligibility criteria. Students who get less marks or fail in one or two subjects can appear for the supplementary examination.

CBSE Supplementary Exam 2023: How to Apply

Step 1 – Schools can visit the official websites of CBSE – cbse.gov.in, or parikshasangam.cbse.gov.in.

Step 2 – Click on the CBSE compartment exam link on the homepage

Step 3 – Fill the Form

Step 4 – Submit and download the acknowledgment form for future use

CBSE Supplementary Exam 2023: Application Fee

Along with filling the supplementary exam form, students have to submit an application fee of Rs 300. Students from Nepal and other countries outside India will have to deposit Rs 1000 and Rs 2000 as application fee. Students who will not be able to apply till June 15 can register from June 16 to 17 with a late fee of Rs 300.
