The CBI team probing the death of Akhara Parishad President Mahant Narendra Giri has brought the accused Mahant Anand Giri back from Haridwar to Prayagraj. Last Wednesday around 7:40 pm, CBI took Anand Giri to his ashram at Shyampur Kangri in Haridwar. Where the team investigated for about 7 hours. Interrogated the employees here separately and then in front of Anand Giri.

The team has seized DVR, laptop, iPhone of Anand Giri and mobiles of 4 sevadars of the CCTV camera installed at the ashram at 2:50 pm. CBI is looking for the CD which Mahant Narendra Giri had mentioned in his suicide note.

Thief entered Seal Ashram
A DVR was stolen from the ashram. Whose DVR was this? Nothing is known about this. CBI investigation has come to the fore that 4 days ago a youth had entered the ashram with the intention of stealing. Neighbors caught him stealing. After this, the CBI also interrogated the caught thief.

After the disappearance of the DVR from the ashram, the suspicion of the CBI has deepened. Agency sources say that when the ashram was sealed and police were deployed in security, how did the theft happen? The team is investigating it.

On Wednesday night, CBI took Anand Giri to Dehradun by flight. From there she took him to the ashram. Anand Giri said on seeing the media that the truth will come out in the CBI investigation.
