Caught on camera: Man pushes 52-year-old on subway tracks in New York

On June 5, a man pushed a 52-year-old man onto a train track at a New York City subway station in the US. Police has started investigating the matter.

In a video posted by the New York Police Department, a man can be seen pushing a 52-year-old woman onto the tracks at a train station in New York City, US.

The incident occurred at the Westchester and Jackson Avenue subway stations on June 5 at approximately 4.40 pm local time.

The woman has suffered injuries to her head and hand. Police confirmed that his injuries were not serious.

Meanwhile, the suspect is still on the run and the police have offered up to US$3,500 for information about the suspect.

The video was posted by a Twitter handle called NYPD Crime Stoppers, which is used by police to ask citizens for help in identifying suspects of crimes.
