He alleged that some workers of his party were also attacked.
Shravan said the attack was done after a remark made by a BJP leader Legislator Regarding the alleged slow development works in his constituency.
Police said the TRS members, in their complaint, have accused the BJP councilor and his party workers of abusing and assaulting them.
Some members of both the sides argued and pushed each other while unfurling the national flag, a senior police officer said, adding that they have registered a case against both the MLA and the corporator.
