In his police complaint, Ravi Kumar, a Nandgram resident working as a sweeper in a Delhi school, claimed that he had given a loan of Rs 2.5 lakh to a woman named Neelam, who was introduced to her by an acquaintance.
When Ravi asked Neelam to make the payment as previously agreed, he expressed his inability to repay the loan and instead promised to arrange a bank loan, “to the victim as part of his divorce to his wife.” was required to pay alimony”, according to the complaint.

“The amount was later transferred to my account, but much later I realized that I owed Rs 5 lakh to the bank. I also came to know that they fraudulently withdrawn Rs 2.5 lakh from my account using my signed check which they had taken from me.
On his complaint, an FIR was registered under IPC sections 420 (cheating), 406 (criminal breach of trust), 467 (forgery), 468 (forgery with intent to defraud), 471 (forgery document) and 506 (criminal intimidation) . On Friday, the five accused in Kavinagar police station.
