Death threats and abusive allegations
Hardeep Singh, a resident of Bhuksaura village, told that late on Monday evening he was going back towards home after paying obeisance at the gurudwara. BJP leader Meher Singh Deol resident of Ahraula village near King Villa Hotel on Nawabganj Road, Sarvjit Singh Ghuman, resident of Mahesh Garden and three unidentified people surrounded him. After this he was abused and beaten up. Hardeep Singh alleges that BJP leader Mehr Singh Deol hit his licensed pistol on his face, injuring him. Threatened to shoot him directly in the head if he testified in the Lakhimpur Kheri case.

Rampur has four witnesses in Lakhimpur case
There are four main witnesses of Rampur in the Lakhimpur case involving Ashish Mishra, son of Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni. Their names are SP leaders Tejinder Singh Virk, Hardeep Singh, Gurjit Singh Kotia and Harpal Singh.
