The development work of Gandhinagar railway station was to be completed in March itself, but due to the second wave of Corona, there was a delay of three months. Its biggest feature is that it is built under the building of a 318-room five-star hotel. A 318-room five-star hotel was built on top of 50 pillars of 2.5 * 2.5 meters at the station. There is a hotel 22 meters above the railway station and to reach there underpasses were also given on both sides of the railway station.

Lift and escalator next to ticket window
Under this building, a lift and escalator have been installed next to the ticket window near the main entrance, so that the passenger does not face any problem in reaching the platform. The passenger has to pass through the door frame metal detector to reach the ticket window. A separate lift has been arranged to enter the hotel near the entry gate, which will take you directly to the hotel reception.
