Content producer and social media influencer Dolly Singh will premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. She claims that she has finally crossed one important item off her bucket list.

Later this month, she will head to the French Riviera, where she will attend an official film screening at the venerable Grand Lumière theater and walk the red carpet. Along with her cultural explorations, her four-day itinerary will include dining at Chez Alben, La Mome Plage, Silencio Club, Fred L’Cailler and Majestic Le Paradisio.

Dolly says, “Cannes Film Festival has been an important platform for Indian artistes to showcase their talent on an international platform. Indian talent over the years has not only brought Indian cinema to the world stage but has also helped break down cultural barriers and promote cross-cultural exchange.”

She added: “Today I am honored to contribute to this exchange in my own unique way and to make my debut at the festival this year. From making candles in a small town in Nainital to walking the red carpet at Cannes As far as walking goes, I am really grateful and excited for this opportunity. It was an old dream and I have finally ticked off an important milestone on my bucket list.”

Nainital-based Dolly has established herself as one of the most recognized content creators in the country by creating her own Dollyverse, featuring cute little characters like Raju’s Mummy, South Delhi Girl, Guddi Bhabhi, Zeenat and Shree .

Growing up, Singh was always focused on making a name for himself in the fashion industry. After completing her bachelor’s degree in political science, she decided to pursue a master’s degree in fashion from NIFT. Her own content producing adventure began with the show “Spill the Sass”, in which she discussed reasonably priced clothing.

The Cannes Film Festival 2023 will begin on May 16 and end on May 27.
