Canada to resume random COVID testing for international arrivals at 4 airports from Tuesday – Times of India

To qualify as a fully vaccinated traveler in Canada, travelers must have received a primary series of COVID-19 vaccines accepted by the Government of Canada for the purpose of travel at least 14 calendar days prior to their entry into Canada. Should be vaccinated together.
It adds that all testing for air travelers, both for those who qualify for fully vaccinated and those with or without partial vaccination, will be completed outside airports, either at select test provider locations and pharmacies. Through in-person appointment, or a self-swab test for virtual appointment. Travelers who are not fully immunized, unless exempt, should continue to be tested on Day 1 and Day 8 of their mandatory 14-day quarantine.
“Testing outside airports will support testing for passengers arriving by air, while still being able to monitor and respond to new forms of concern, or changes in the epidemiological situation. Mandatory random testing continues at land border points of entry, without any changes. ,
“Air travelers who qualify as fully vaccinated and who are selected for mandatory random testing, as well as air travelers who do not qualify as fully vaccinated, are required to complete their customs declaration at 15 Will receive an email notification within minutes.
