Byju’s Founder Raveendran Writes To Employees On ED Searches

New Delhi: Byju’s founder Byju Raveendran on Sunday informed his employees via email that he is fully cooperating with the authorities after the Enforcement Directorate raided its premises. He added that BYJU’S has made all efforts to fully comply with all applicable foreign exchange laws.

He said the recent ED visit is a probe under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA). He said the information sought by the authorities was earlier submitted by the representatives.

He said in the letter that the company had made several overseas acquisitions over the years as part of our growth strategy and that “these acquisitions have been instrumental in increasing our reach and influence”.
