The much-awaited and much-awaited five-match Test series between India and England will begin on August 4. Considering the conditions conducive to England’s bowling, it seems that the performance of the fast bowlers will decide the winner of the series.
India’s star pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who was seen completely out of his normal bowling rhythm in the final of the World Test Championship, will be hoping for a strong comeback against England. Bumrah himself is preparing aggressively for the India vs England Test series and was seen sweating it out in the nets.
Meanwhile, in a picture shared by BCCI through its official Twitter handle, Bumrah was seen practicing bowling in a very unique way. The star pacer was seen bowling in the nets wearing a batting pad. While sharing the photo of Bumrah, BCCI wrote in the caption, ‘He is having a very busy session in the nets.’
Bumrah has been struggling with his form for some time now. Even in IPL 2021, he did not look in his best form, while in the WTC final also against New Zealand did not live up to the expectations. However, Bumrah’s bowling record on overseas pitches has been excellent so far and he will be aiming to prove it again in the Test series against the English team.
Recently the Indian team played a three-day warm-up match against County Select XI in Durham, in which KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja performed brilliantly with the bat. On the other hand, Mohammad Siraj and Umesh Yadav impressed a lot with their bowling.
