Police said all the accused arrested so far by the Mumbai Cyber Police took to Twitter to discuss the failure of the Delhi Police in the traditional Mahasabha group, which encouraged Bishnoi to repeat the crime by taking source code from Thakur on the same group, Indian Express The report said.

Police said members of the Twitter group were taught how to report an account from a rival group and how to hide someone’s identity using a VPN. The members opposed the group’s followers, the Indian Muslim Twitter (IMT).
Reportedly, Thakur had posted the source code of the Sulli Deal app on the group, following which the group was instructed to track down Muslim women journalists who are active on social media and regularly write on issues that concern them. categorically oppose the ideology of Hindutva.
Police said that in a chat, members of the group also discussed that the Delhi Police, despite registering an FIR, was unable to trace them as they were “quite skilled” in hiding their identities, Indian Express Reported.
While members of the traditional Mahasabha asked Bishnoi to wait, he managed to upload the data of 102 Muslim women on the app. Police said that later, he asked three of his accused – Jha, Singh and Rawat – to change the names of their Twitter handles to Sikh names to show that people from the community were behind the app.
