He said that efforts would be made to make Uttar Pradesh the “Sarvottam Pradesh” (best state) with the aim of achieving the target of making the economy a $1 trillion economy.
State Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna has said that the budget to be presented in the assembly will be the biggest budget in the history of Uttar Pradesh, in which the focus will be on infrastructure.
“The budget (size) will be the biggest in the history of Uttar Pradesh. It will be for the youth, to strengthen the farmers and to give respect to the women. Focus will be on infrastructure so that more employment opportunities can be created,” Khanna, who will be presenting the budget in the state assembly, told reporters.
He said that efforts would be made to make Uttar Pradesh the “Sarvottam Pradesh” (best state) with the aim of achieving the target of making the economy a $1 trillion economy.
The minister also said that the perception of Uttar Pradesh has changed as a “safe state” because of the “safety and security” here.
Khanna also visited the temple before going to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s residence, where the budget will be formally passed in the cabinet meeting before being presented in the House.
