The singer, who made his Instagram debut last December with fellow members RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin and Jungkook, has crossed 60 million followers within 555 days. With this feat, he has created a world record for the fastest number of followers.
Named ‘thv’ standing for the initials of his birth name TaeHyung and his given stage name V, the account currently has 81 posts, and 6 followers—including BTS members and the official BTS account. Earlier he also achieved another record as the only account to cross the 10 million likes mark, with many others also crossing 15 million likes or more. In fact, when V first made his personal account in December 2021 along with other BTS members, he became the fastest to hit 1 million and 10 million followers. After this, his account also became the fastest to reach 20, 30, 40 and 50 million followers, and it is expected to continue in the days to come.
