BTS singer V returned to Weavers in the early hours of Thursday and opened up about his long-awaited mixtape, which is called KTH 1. It all started when a BTS fan asked TaeTae, “Taehyung when does your mixtape come out?” As translated on Twitter by BTS member V’s fan account @thetaeprint, the Winter Bear singer said, “(plan) to release it this year.” Another fan posted, “Taehyung, it would be a lie if I said I’m not looking forward to it, don’t feel the pressure and put all your heart into it!!” To which Taete replied, “It’s good, I’ll wait.”
Taehyung then shared the heartbreaking news that he would not only be featuring previously teased songs but that he had removed those songs as well. A fan requested, “Taehyung please include Journey with me in the mixtape.” He replied.

A fan recently shared a snippet of the song teased by him on Instagram and asked if he had deleted that song as well. Taehyung replied lovingly, “Since it’s recent.. Should I see it in the trash? I wish I hadn’t emptied it. Just hate my thumb.”
In the midst of these conversations, Taehyung fueled speculation of collaborating with John Batiste. The musician, who was a part of Disney Pixar hit film Soul, has revealed that he is in touch with the BTS member. Speaking with John Batiste on Twitter Spaces #GRAMMYsAsk, John said, “I have a lot of love for BTS and I’m excited about BTS performing. I’m talking to V of BTS, he He’s an incredible musician and he has so many great things he’s working on and it’s nice to have such constant exchanges.”
