BTS’ eldest member Kim Seokjin is away for his mandatory military service, but has left a sweet message for the ARMY.

Ever since the oldest member of iconic K-pop boyband BTS, Kim Seokjin, left for his mandatory military service, fans have been waiting for the monthly messages he left behind. Since February is all about Valentines Day, it only seemed natural for the singer, better known by his stage name Jin, to leave the members of ARMY a message for the day. Titled ‘Message From Jin: February 2023′, fans were able to catch a glimpse of her stunning looks in a crisp black suit in a clip shared on BTS’ official YouTube channel, BangtanTV. Needless to say, Jin has once again proved that he deserves his moniker Worldwide Handsome.

Yet it wasn’t the scenes that got the ARMY members emotional. This was actually Jin’s message. He shared with the camera, and in detail the fans, that he had prepared macarons for them. Since BTS has seven members, they prepared seven macarons. Seokjin sat down with a piping pen to write sweet messages for fans on each dish. His messages were simple yet very touching.

At first, the BTS member simply wrote ‘ARMY’. Although the task at hand certainly seemed daunting, Jin managed to accomplish it. The K-pop star also asked fans who were watching the clip to “eat some macarons and chocolate today.”

After this, Jin contemplates whether he should write “Take care” as his next message. but he decided against it because “it feels like a departure”. Instead, he decided to express his adoration for the fans and settled on writing “I Love You”. Seokjin said, “‘I love you’ is the best.”

Since he needed two more syllables, Jin decided to add the word “lots” to the end. The last macaron had a big heart with which the BTS member expressed his love for the fans. Before closing the video, Seokjin said, “I’ll be back next month with something else. Please wait for next month.” He signed off the short but touching message with his signature smile and a wave. “

Kim Seokjin continues to make members of the ARMY proud, posting clips and photos of his graduation ceremony in the Army. There were reports of Jin being appointed as a company commander trainee because of his good performance. In the clip from his graduation ceremony, Jin is seen not only leading the way, but also receiving a lot of attention and affection afterwards.

Jin officially began his mandatory military service on 13 December and is expected to be discharged in June 2024.
