Jungkook of BTS is dominating the music charts around the world with his solo single.
Jungkook made his solo debut with the new digital single Seven, featuring Latto. Shortly after its release, the song topped house music charts such as Melon’s Top 100 as well as Bugs and Genie’s real-time charts.
Outside of Korea, Seven reached the top of the iTunes charts in several countries around the world. Seven had already reached No. 1 on the iTunes Top Songs chart in at least 106 different territories, including the United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, France and Japan.
Additionally, the clean and instrumental versions of Seven reached No. 2 and No. 3 in several countries.
Meanwhile, Seven’s music video is gaining a lot of views. The video has already garnered over 34.6 million views on YouTube.
BTS member Jungkook released his solo single Seven featuring Leto. The song is originally in the UK garage style, with a warm acoustic guitar sound and a catchy melody. The song’s lyrics are a satire about wanting to spend the whole week with one’s lover.
Featuring Jungkook’s melodious vocals and Han So Hee’s acting chops, the cinematic music video has mesmerized fans and set the internet on fire. In the music video, Lato also appeared in a comedic scene at a funeral. The music video featured surprising moments that fans had never seen before. Not only this, this is the first video from last year in which an actress is seen with a BTS member.
This is the first time Jungkook has collaborated with American rapper Leto. Nevertheless, the gorgeous looking star Han So Hee also gave her best performance in the music video.
Last month, BigHit Music posted a statement on Weaver sharing details about Seven. Its name is Jungkook Solo Digital Single Seven Release. The statement read, “Hello. This is Big Music. We are happy to inform you about the release of the solo digital single Seven by BTS member Jungkook. Seven is an upbeat summer ballad that is sure to excite you in its entirety. Will make you experience the charm of Jungkook.
