BTS members recently gathered to promote a new line of merchandise designed by rapper Suga (Min Yeongi). The Artist Made Collection is a series of merchandise lines designed by each member. Earlier this month, Suga came out with her creation. Suga’s business included a notepad and a pair of pendants and chains. BTS leader RM aka Kim Namjoon plays the MC for Suga’s business video.
After describing the thought process and the work that went behind creating the products, RM showed the audience how the products would look in real life. To give the audience a practical experience of the trade, singer Gene Jungkook came on screen and pretended to play his guitar with the help of a pendant. As he was writing something on the notepad, RM said, “Our model is writing something on the notepad. We have ‘Jean Meyer’ with us here.” The rapper added wordplay to Jungkook’s name, based on the name of American singer John Mayer.
However, it’s not just RM named Jungkook. During the reveal of the latest Artist Made collection designed by Jungkook earlier this week, the golden mecca also revealed their secret names for RM, Suga, and J-Hope. The latest merchandise collection includes some hoodies and microcosmos lamps that were designed by the band’s golden maize. To promote the latest line of merchandise, singer Kim Taehyung aka V played the role of MC and introduced viewers to the products that will include the latest merchandise collections.
This time around it was Wei and Jungkook’s turn. To promote Jungkook’s business, BTS became models for Rapline RM, J-Hope, and Suga Hoodie. Vee plays the emcee and Jungkook is quick to announce him as ‘Team Ugh’. Ugh is a song sung by the trio that was part of their 2020 album Map of the Soul: 7.
