BTS’ Jungkook Hums, Dances On ‘Naatu Naatu’ Song During His Live, Indian Fans Are Impressed- Watch

New Delhi: Ahead of Oscars 2023, ‘Naatu Naatu’ fever is at its peak. The latest to join the bandwagon is Jungkook, a member of the popular South Korean band BTS.

In a recent live stream, Jungkook was listening to the song ‘Natu Natu’, which is competing for the Oscar trophy this year in the Best Original Score category. Jungkook loved the song and even lip-synced the words. His gesture on ‘natu natu’ impressed the desi army who praised him on social media.

The video clip of Jungkook was shared by the official Instagram account of `RRR`. The post read, “JUNGKOOK. Surprised to hear that you loved #NaatuNaatu so much. We’re sending lots of love to you, the #BTS team and all of South Korea. #RRRMovie.”


Fans showered their love on the post. “As a South Indian Army this makes me so happy,” wrote one, while another wrote, “Made my day… finally a kpop idol recognizes Indian music.”

The cross-cultural hit was nominated in the Original Song category along with “This Is a Life” from “Everything Everywhere All at Once”, “Applause” from “Tell It Like a Woman” and “Lift Me Up” from “Black Panther”. Has been done : Wakanda Forever,” are all part of the scheduled performances for the 95th annual event, Variety reported.

The song won awards on the global stage before entering the Oscars. In January, `Natu Natu` won a Golden Globe in the `Best Original Song` category. Five days later, `RRR` won two more awards at the 28th edition of the Critics’ Choice Awards. One is for Best Song and the other is for ‘Best Foreign Language Film’. Since then, ‘RRR’ and ‘Naatu Naatu’ have been riding high on the global charts.

The song was also released in Hindi as `Nacho Nacho`, in Tamil as `Nattu Koothu`, in Kannada as `Halli Naatu` and in Malayalam as `Karinthol`. Its Hindi version was sung by Rahul Sipligunj and Vishal Mishra.

The hook steps performed by Jr NTR and Ram Charan went viral on social media and their energetic synchrony made the song a must watch.
