BTS member Jungkook turns 24
A day before his birthday, Jungkook shared a selfie on Weavers, a fan application, and asked Cena to send a birthday note in the form of a song.

One of the reasons why BTS has amassed a global army of fans is that they know how to turn the love they receive from their followers. This was proved once again in the early hours of 1 September when Jungkook, the youngest member of the septet, held a virtual live session with his fans to celebrate his 24th birthday. What made the live session even more special for the fans was that the singer composed songs from birthday messages sent to him by fans.
A day before his birthday, Jungkook shared a selfie on a fan application, Weavers, and asked him to send a birthday note in the form of a song. In the hours before his birthday, Jungkook conducted a live session on VLY and took notes sent to him and composed melodious songs, which he sang in his soothing voice. The singer also used instruments such as the guitar to add music to his improvised songwriting sessions.
The BTS Army was certainly excited, as nearly 20 million fans joined the VLive session and sang Golden Makne compositions and songs for them. Fans shared their reaction on social media as they saw Jungkook interacting with his fans. One of the BTS fans shared screenshots from the live session and wrote in disbelief, “I still can’t believe Jungkook was live on WAP for 2 hours+ and held a free concert.”
One of the songs composed by the singer was based on a birthday note sent by a fan, which read, “For every day, I miss you, For every hour, I need you. For every minute, I feel you. For every moment, I want you. Praising Jungkook for his creation, one of the fans tweeted, “It’s even more adorable than being presented with the finished SoundCloud song as he is sharing his music making process with us.”
Rapper J-Hope also joined the VLive session as he sang a birthday song for the singer.
