BTS member J-Hope has finally released his highly anticipated solo album ‘N Jack in the Box. It is the K-pop singer’s debut solo album and her second single ‘Aarson’ is finally out. Arson has set fire with its words. This time around, J-Hope has played with his creativity by mixing the flames and ARMY is loving it.

The much-awaited music video was released on July 15, and the lead singer has now given a glimpse of their behind-the-scenes fun via Instagram. Just a day after the track’s release, J-Hope revealed the inspiration behind the arson. Well, it has to do with his younger self.

Prior to shooting the Arson music video, J-Hope filmed a special introduction to fans saying, “What’s Instagram, it’s J-Hope here. Today we’re here to shoot a music video for my new single Arson. We’re on the set for the day. I’m so excited to be here with you guys. So let’s have a great time.”

The pop icon explained the title of Arson and explained how fire plays an important role in the track. He added that the essence of the track is, “Since the song’s title is Bangwa which means “arson”. Many things are being set ablaze leaving behind ashes. The theme begins with the costume. Overall, I plan to capture the message of this song with the music video.”

Interpreting the message, J-Hope takes a trip down memory lane to remember his younger self. He said, “Since I was little, I’ve been working with Sparks of Passion and I thought these sparks were the right material for it. That’s why I chose Aag. In fact, I put a lot of effort into this album. I tried to show my true colors in it. I also tried a lot of new things. While you are listening to my album, I hope you will see and enjoy this new side of J-Hope.

Once the music video was filmed, J-Hope described it as a fun experience and hoped ARMY would enjoy it too., “It was fun. I hope you guys like it too,” he said.

Not only the music video, but song-wise also the song is about flames. The track’s chorus goes, “If someone asks me, OK, I light the flame. Now I ask myself, what to choose. Should I put out the fire, or burn it even faster”.

If the music video is taken into account, it appears that Arson is J-Hope’s attempt to capture his raw emotions without any filters.
