Earlier this week, a clip of BTS members dancing in the streets of Los Angeles went viral. Septet was performing the Crosswalk concert as he stopped traffic on the streets of LA for an appearance on James Corden’s Late Late Show. One of the cars stopped by a South Korean band was that of American news anchor Cher Calvin.
Cher recorded the dance performance from her car and uploaded it to Instagram, much to the delight of fans. Cher was also one of the lucky ones, as BTS singer V, also known as Kim Taehyung, happened to touch her car while dancing to her hit song Butters. Sharing footage of the performance on Instagram, Cher wrote, “Oh my god BTS. Crosswalk Music, James Corden Wow. BTS ain’t gonna lie, I’m officially a fan of a lifetime. Cher also mentioned in the caption, “Right after washing the car with paint they couldn’t get on my steering wheel with spilled paint in storage! And my dry cleaning is about to stop! All day.”
Fellow reporter Kimberly Cheng expressed her excitement, commenting, “Okay! I still can’t believe this happened. So amazing sister. I would have been screaming my head. Only in LA.”
In another Instagram post, Cher showed her followers V’s fingerprints after he touched their car while performing. In the five minute and 22 second video, Cher is seen explaining to his audience how Vee touched his car. She also focuses on the front hood of her car where minor fingerprints are visible. Cher says they are V’s fingerprints. Cher has also mentioned that she won’t wash her car because she wants to keep the South Korean singer’s fingerprints intact.
BTS fans were definitely jealous of Cher’s car, as one user commented, “Car envy.” Another user requested Cher, “Is it okay if you send me a copy of that fingerprint. Asking for a friend.” One of V’s fans wrote, “You are one lucky lady, V is my prejudice. I have to get them sealed to stay in my car.” One envious fan commented, “So lucky. I’m dying of envy.” One of the users suggested, “I’ll install a Fingerprint Lite app right away. ready for lamination. ,
