Brunei’s Prince Abdul Mateen To Marry His Business Woman Lover: Here’s A Sneak Peek Into His Lavish Lifestyle

The Brunei royal family recently announced that Prince Abdul Mateen will wed his girlfriend, Anisha Rosnah, in January 2024. As per the reports, the 32-year-old Prince is among the most eligible bachelors in Asia, while his soon-to-be wife is a successful businesswoman.

While Prince Abdul Mateen has portrayed himself as down-to-earth and averse to showcasing his family’s wealth, a closer look at his Instagram profile reveals his true interests – a passion for polo, yachts, exotic pets, and private jets. Let’s delve into the life of Prince Abdul Mateen of Brunei.

The prince enjoys a massive fan following of 2.4 million on social media. He is currently sixth in line for the Brunei throne. His Instagram showcases his extravagant lifestyle with images of yachting, private jet journeys, and visits to world-class hotels. According to reports from the Independent Post, Prince Mateen has met various members of the British royal family and even attended the coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla alongside his father, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah. He was also seen at the royal wedding of Jordan’s Prince Hussein bin Abdullah and Rajawa Al Saif.

The Sultan of Brunei, one of the world’s longest-reigning monarchs, is also among the wealthiest people globally, with a fortune exceeding £24 billion (approximately 1,462,029,078,240 Indian Rupees). Prince Abdul Mateen, the Sultan’s fourth son and tenth child, was born to his former wife, Puan Haja Mariam binti Haji Abdul Aziz. He has maintained a long-standing relationship with Rosnah, and earlier this year, his sister, Princess Azema, attended Nimatul Bolkiah’s wedding.

Prince Abdul Mateen currently serves as a helicopter pilot in the Royal Brunei Air Force and is an accomplished polo player, representing Brunei in the Southeast Asian Games in 2017 and 2019. Rosnah, his future wife, is the granddaughter of Pehin Dato Isa, one of the Sultan’s trusted advisors. Rosnah has forged her own path as a successful entrepreneur in Brunei. Besides leading her fashion brand ‘Silk Collective,’ she co-founded the tourism company ‘Authenticari’ with a close friend.

The Islamic wedding ceremony for Abdul Mateen and Rosnah will be held on January 11, with a reception scheduled for January 14. The royal couple will partake in a procession in the capital city, Bandar Seri Begawan, and conclude the nine-day celebration with a grand banquet on the evening of January 15.
