Ahmedabad: The Patels left no stone unturned to celebrate the second birthday of their beloved pet dog. AB, with great enthusiasm. Police arrested brothers Chirag Patel, 24, and Urveesh Patel, 19, resident of Kiranpark Society in West Bengal’S Krishnanagar, they also caught Divyesh Mehariya (35), resident of Vijay Kamdar Society in Krishnanagar. The police raided the party which was in full swing on Friday at 11 pm during the time of Kovid-curfew. The men were booked for not wearing masks, violating social distancing norms and holding gatherings without permission.
As soon as videos of youths celebrating birthdays started spreading on social media, the police got a tip-off and raided the party.
Police said, “The venue was decorated with flowers, balloons, photos and cutouts of pets. There was a big stage for the orchestra and singers. The family cut the birthday cake and the guests were seen dancing with great enthusiasm.” Constable Sunilkumar PataniThe person who filed the complaint said, “The family had hired a Gujarati singer. The organizers of the party as well as the guests were seen dancing without masks. Hence, a case was registered against them.”
