Britney Spears shares new version of her debut single ‘Baby One More Time’

New Delhi: American musician and songwriter Britney Spears on Friday shared a clip of a new version of her debut single, “Baby One More Time,” which she says she shot on her phone while doing laundry.

According to Fox News, Britney announced the a cappella version of the 1998 hit, saying it was the first time she’d shared her voice in an “extremely long…maybe too long”. The singer said that she asked for an alternate version of ‘Baby One More Time’ for 14 years after wearing pigtails and a schoolgirl outfit for the first time as a teenager in the original music video.

However, the producers refused to do it and she had little control over her career due to her conservatism that started in 2008. Brittany said she was sharing her disappointment “because I know my love and passion for singing … and my own family fooled me.” She said that she “definitely makes advanced musicians think it’s terrible or bad… well when I’m bad, I’m better.”

Last year, a judge released the singer from her guardianship and her father, Jamie Spears, who was her mentor, was ordered this week to sit for a statement about the nature of conservatism, according to Fox News.
