British Airways passenger posts photo of his ‘first class’ meal, Twitter reacts

When travelers book first class ticket on plane for long journey, they really expect good services and good food. Despite all these expectations, the food on the plane has been known to not live up to the expectations of the consumers. Passengers can often be seen talking about the food on the plane for the small portion or the quality of the food. In a similar incident recently, British Airways was trolled on social media when a Twitter user shared a picture of it being served in the first class of the airline.

A Twitter user named Jane Hawkes shared a picture of her meal when she was given food that did not increase her appetite. The dish shown in the picture was a tray containing mushrooms, sausage, hash browns and mashed potatoes, among other things. Showcasing the picture, she took to Twitter to seek the views of netizens on the food served by her. Jen captioned the photo, “First class #BritishAirwaysBreakfast. Thoughts?”

After viewing the pictures, netizens shared their views on the first class food. Commenting on the post, a user said, “Are you sure you weren’t in economy class?” Another user expressed his views on the post saying, “A sausage…. ok. Roasted potatoes – weird for breakfast, but I’ll have it. Mushrooms – not to everyone’s taste, but OK… and what are the two things on the plate? Looks like they don’t come from the food category!”

Taking it up a notch, one of the Twitter users shared a photo of a plate served on her trip with Air Canada, saying, “Back to Air Canada in March. Healthiest breakfast I’ve had in years.”

Jen’s post has garnered more such reactions and humorous replies from netizens, many of whom have shared pictures of their meals. The tweet has garnered over 2,000 likes on the post and more such reactions are pouring in.
