This week saw a fight between the North and South film industries at the box office with the release of Radhe Shyam and The Kashmir Files. Both the movies released in theaters and are trying their best to impress the audience. However, it seems that the Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri directorial is leading in terms of box office collections. The film starring Anupama Kher, Mithun Chakraborty and others earned Rs. 3.55 crore on its opening day on March 11. Interestingly, the figures for the second day have also been impressive as the film has managed to collect around 7-7.25 crore nett to reach the total 10.50 crore nett on the second day. Speaking about the Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starter, the struggle still continued and the film reportedly earned Rs 4.50-4.75 crore.

According to a report by Box Office India, “The Kashmir Files has shown a growth of over 100% which is phenomenal and the opening was also very good. Mumbai, Delhi and East Punjab lead the way but slowly the film expands to other regions. And the number of screens is getting bigger.”

Talking about Radhe Shyam the report revealed, “The Telugu version in Mumbai city has seen a drop in collections and Hyderabad also looks down heavily. The two day collection for the Hindi version will net around 9 crores and There is little hope that the trajectory will change on Sunday.”

Coming back to the first day’s figures, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh ​​shared the box office figures on Twitter. He tweeted, “#TheKashmirFiles gave a big surprise on the first day…Despite the limited performance [630+ screens], the film goes from strength to strength during the day … evening and night shows extraordinary … Solid growth on Day 2 and 3 is a sure … Fri Rs 3.55 cr. #IndiaBiz.”

For Unverse, the film revolves around the massacre of Kashmiri Pandits in 1990 and stars Darshan Kumar, and Pallavi Joshi in the lead roles. It has been declared tax free in Haryana.

Whereas for Radhe Shyam, it is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar and released in Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi and Telugu languages. The story of the film revolves around the story of Vikramaditya, played by Prabhas, an expert palmist who can predict everything.
