Box Office Report: ‘RRR’ vs ‘Hatta’

Directed by SS Rajamouli, RRR has been winning hearts ever since its release on March 25. From its extraordinary appeal to a powerful star cast including Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt And Ajay Devgn, the film continues its winning streak at the box office on its second Saturday. While the latest Friday’s release ‘Attack’ starring John abrahamRakul Preet Singh in the lead role is still facing challenges at the box office. Both the films belong to the action genre, which is why John’s film is working hard to achieve even the 10 crore mark. Meanwhile, RRR has already been declared a superhit as within two days it has crossed Rs 500 crore at the worldwide box office and is heading towards the 200 crore club in the Hindi belt.

Talking about RRR’s collections at Box Office India, a report said, “RRR (Hindi) continues to create a ruckus at the box office as it almost clocked a net collection of 162 crores on its second Saturday. 17 crore net collection. The jump was almost 30. % on 2nd Saturday which is very good for a film which is earning huge numbers.”

On Sunday, Trade Analyst, Taran Adarsh ​​shared the collection on Twitter, writing, “#RRR RULES, ROCKS and ROARS… Day 9 is trending extraordinary… Will cross ₹175 cr today. The magnum opus became India’s biggest opener with Rs 223 crore worldwide beating ‘Baahubali 2’, which had earned Rs 217 crore worldwide on its opening day. Set in pre-independence India, ‘RRR’ is a fictional tale on the youthful days of renowned freedom fighters, Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju, illustrated by Jr NTR and Ram Charan. The film also stars Samuthirakani, Olivia Morris, Alison Doody and Ray Stevenson.

Whereas for Attack, the Box Office India report claimed, “Attack’s business was the same as on the first day, drawing a net of Rs.3-3.25 crores and nett around 6.25 crores on day two. Across the board.” The numbers are less in the U.S. as both the metro and mass circuits do sluggish business.”
