Assembly by-polls are to be held in the state on October 30. There are elections for two seats Dhariyavad and Vallabhnagar. Many demands of farmers in this assembly had been there for a long time, such as loan rejection and agricultural market. The same issue was there in the last election as well, but this issue disappeared in the ticket distribution of both the parties. In the last 5 elections, despite being MLA of BJP thrice and Congress twice, no one has been able to make rapid development of religiousism. There have been issues like agricultural produce market for 30 years, dismissal of farmers’ loans for 3 years and making Dhariyawad a municipality for a long time, but till date no work has been done on them.
People here said that these issues will be kept in these by-elections as well. The crop of farmers has also been damaged due to excessive rains this year, but once again the ticket distribution of both the parties has raised a new issue there.

BJP’s biggest stronghold in Dhariyavad, Lasdia is not looking as strong this time. In the 2018 assembly elections, BJP got a decisive lead of about 17 thousand from here. This time the lead is likely to be much less. Congress is looking strong in Jhalara.
