7 schools in Bangalore were threatened with bombs via email. The eviction of students from the schools was started after receiving a threatening mail at around 11 am on Friday. Bengaluru City Police Commissioner Kamal Pant said that police teams are investigating these schools.

Bomb not found in two schools
Additional Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru East, Dr. Subramanyaswara Rao said such emails are mostly rumours. But, we are taking it seriously and are not leaving any chance. So far the investigation has been completed in two schools, no bombs have been found there.

Exams were going on in some of these schools. Parents have been called to take the children back. However, the police have said that there was no disturbance in the exam. The police team is also probing the source of the email.

Wrote in the mail – don’t be late
In the mail through which the schools have been threatened, it is written – A very powerful bomb has been planted in your school. Pay attention, this is not a joke. Thousands of lives may be in danger along with you. Report this to the police immediately. Don’t be late Now everything is in your hands only.
