Bomb alert on Ryanair plane On Sunday, a bomb was reported on a Ryanair flight from Poland to Greece. According to media reports, Greek warplanes scrambled to take off with more than 190 people on board after the bomb threat.

According to the report, the pilot of the Boeing 737 aircraft had also alerted the authorities about the possible bomb threat.

Fortunately, the flight landed in a deserted area at Athens International Airport shortly after a delay of about two and a half hours.

The passengers were then asked to disembark and their luggage was lined up outside the aircraft.

Similar calls were also seen on the flight to Moscow

Earlier on Saturday, a Goa-bound chartered flight from Moscow with 240 passengers on board was diverted to Uzbekistan after authorities at the state’s Dabolim airport received an email that claimed there was a bomb on board.

This was the second such incident within a week.

The plane, operated by Russian airline Azur Air, was to land at Dabolim airport in South Goa at 4.15 am, a senior police officer said.
