Swara Kokila Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar passed away today at the age of 92. Lata Mangeshkar had a complaint of corona and pneumonia. After which he was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai late on 8 January, where he breathed his last. The whole country is saddened by the demise of ‘Bharat Ratna’ Lata ji. Many Bollywood celebs, including Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgan, Madhur Bhandarkar, AR Rahman, Taran Adarsh, Swanand Kirkire, have condoled and paid tribute to Lata Mangeshkar by sharing posts on social media.
His voice will now resonate in heaven: Amitabh
Amitabh Bachchan shared the post and wrote, “She left us… That voice of decades left us… Her voice will now resonate in heaven… Praying for peace and comfort.” In this one line of Amitabh with folded hands, the sorrow of Lata ji’s departure is clearly visible.
Akshay Kumar wrote, “My voice is my identity, remember it… and how can anyone forget such a voice. Deeply saddened by the passing away of Lata Mangeshkar ji, my condolences and prayers. Om Shanti.”

Singer Anuradha Paudwal, reacting to Lata ji’s death, said, “Very sad. Humble tribute to Lataji. The only thing that can be said about her is Na Bhooto Na Bhavishy. Bhojpuri superstar Khesarilal paid tribute
Bhojpuri Superstar Khesarilal Yadav condoled the death of Lata Mangeshkar and paid tribute to her with moist eyes by organizing a tribute meeting on the sets of the film ‘Son of Bihar’ in Delhi. Along with this, the people present on the set also kept silence for the peace of his soul. During this, Khesarilal Yadav remembered him and said, “India lost its most priceless gem. Your songs were an inspiration for us and will always be there.
