Blue: The ‘infamous’ Blue Screen of Death is coming back to Windows 11 – Times of India

Microsoft has announced that it is turning the black screen of death windows Its original name and color from 11 – blue. The company first changed the infamous Blue The Black Screen of Death from Screen of Death (BSOD) in Windows 11 earlier this year to match the operating system’s boot and shutdown screens.
“When a device stops working or a stop error occurs in previous versions of Windows, we changed the screen color to blue,” says Microsoft’s latest patch notes.
However, as per the recent announcement, the company is changing it back to Blue. The reason for this has not been revealed yet. However, considering the Blue Screen of Death is a general phrase related to operating systems when the operating system runs into a problem and is so common among its users that its return blue color Will provide relief to many users.
In contrast, black screen mostly refers to a problem with the display in simple terms.
This change is now rolling out with the Beta and Release Preview channels with Windows 11 Build 22000.346.
For those unaware, the Blue Screen of Death was first shown in Windows 3.0 which was launched in 1990 and Microsoft never changed anything until Windows 8. In Windows 8, the only thing the company has added is the new Sad face emoji, which was a nice touch by the way.
