Neelam Kothari shares old video, ‘People say I look like Anil Kapoor’s daughter’
Actress Neelam Kothari Soni took a trip down memory lane on Sunday as she shared a video clip of herself from an old media interaction from the 80s, when she was quite new to Bollywood. The clip was first posted by Neelam’s husband and actor Sameer Soni, who captioned the throwback video, which read, “Teenage sensation @neelamkoharisoni all 17 years old.”
Re-posting the video, Neelam wrote, “Blast from the past.. Thanks for sharing this babe.”
The interview took place at Neelam’s house. Neelam answered many questions related to Bollywood, what kind of roles she wants to do and why most of her films are with Govinda. To which she said, “People think I looked too young for heroes like Jackie, Anil… I don’t know. They say, ‘She looks like their daughter or something. She looks too young’ is.'”
“Many people say that I am different from other actors and actresses because I don’t get along with too many film crowds. I keep mine. I rarely go to movie parties,” she said.
Neelam made her Bollywood debut with Jawaani in 1984 when she was just 13 years old. He acted in successful commercial films like Ilzaam, Aag Hi Aag, Pap Ki Duniya and Khudgarj. Undoubtedly, the pair of Neelam and Govinda won a lot of praise and became a super hit.
