The politics of pressure is in full swing in the electoral environment of Punjab. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has invited the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), which has shunned the alliance on agricultural laws, to come together as a younger brother. When things did not work out, they resorted to the use of central investigative agencies to teach a lesson. If nothing is achieved, now the political game of burglary has started.

Whether it is the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at the Center or any other party, everyone is resorting to the policy of pressure to serve their interests. The way the BJP is playing the game, it is clear that the party is trying to enter the assembly elections in Punjab. The policy of the party is indicating that this time it will not only do it on Hindu faces according to its mark, but will put forward Sikh faces according to its nature in Punjab.

BJP’s bet to break the economic backbone
Chanakya Niti says that if you want to destroy someone, break his financial backbone. Analysts are linking the raids by central probe agencies on the premises of senior Ludhiana-based Akali leader Manpreet Singh Ayali and Fast-Way Cable owner Gurdeep Singh in the recent past with the BJP’s move.

Both the Akali leaders were first raided by the Enforcement Directorate and then by the Income Tax Department. However, no disclosure has been made of what the agencies found at the locations of both. At the same time, both the leaders are claiming that even after 3-4 days of continuous interrogation and scouting of records, the agencies have returned empty handed.

script was already written
The script to teach the Akali Dal a lesson after the break-up of the alliance had already been written. To give a concrete shape to this, the BJP started gearing up even before the cancellation of the agriculture bill. Punjab BJP in-charge Dushyant Kumar gave a statement that he is ready to deal with Shiromani Akali Dal in Punjab, but this time Akali Dal will have to come as a younger brother.

After the statement, Akali Dal President Sukhbir Bad also said that he will not make any compromise with the BJP. Just a day or two after Sukhbir Badal’s statement, central investigative agencies raided the hideouts of Akali Dal leaders. These leaders are the ones who make money for the Akali Dal.

The BJP has now started breaking the big Akali leaders using the policy of pressure. Even though BJP has started it from Delhi, but it will have a direct impact on Punjab. In the coming time, BJP can make many new political revelations in Punjab too.
