Criticizing the Eknath Shinde-Devendra Fadnavis government, Uddhav Thackeray said that they are now eyeing BMC’s fixed deposits as they want to loot Mumbai, including the government’s decision to give MMRDA Maidan land in Mumbai for the Bullet Train project. is included.

As expected, at the third ‘Vajramuth’ rally held in Mumbai on May 1, Shiv Sena UBT chief Uddhav Thackeray hit out at the BJP and challenged them to hold elections now.

Uddhav said the BJP is “scared of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance”, which is getting a positive response from the people.

Criticizing the Eknath Shinde-Devendra Fadnavis government, Uddhav said they are now eyeing BMC’s fixed deposits as they want to loot Mumbai, including the government’s decision to give MMRDA Maidan land in Mumbai for bullet train . I am not against development but any project which is not in favor of the local people, we will not support it. I had put a stop to the bullet train project because the Mumbai-Ahmedabad route is not the busiest. So why does the Center want to impose this project on Maharashtra. That’s why I oppose it. But this government immediately after coming to power allotted prime land of MMRDA Maidan for Bullet Train project.

On the Aarey site for the Metro car-shed project, Uddhav said he had suggested an alternative land at Kanjurmarg where a bigger car depot could be built for other lines as well. “But with the help of the central government, the BJP stalled the land allotment process, and a few days ago, I came to know that they want the same Kanjurmarg plot for other lines. It means you did everything deliberately.

All the MVA leaders who spoke at the rally targeted the BJP and Eknath Shinde over the BMC elections and issues related to Mumbai. Aditya Thackeray questioned the government for not having a single woman minister in the cabinet. “This government is still silent on projects like Vedanta Foxconn, Bulk Drug Park. Gujarat also celebrates May 1 as its statehood day like Maharashtra, but the central government is giving separate treatment to the two states. Why are big projects from Maharashtra going there? Why is the minister silent on this?” Aditya asked.

Amid speculation that Ajit Pawar would join hands with the BJP, Ajit Pawar, who was also at the rally, said he was “very much in the NCP”. Pawar criticized the media for spreading lies about joining the BJP, saying, “Fake news should not be believed and people should not fall for such speculative news, they have been planted many times.”
