The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday released the list of candidates for the Rajya Sabha elections, with Union ministers Nirmala Sitharaman and Piyush Goyal contesting from Karnataka and Maharashtra respectively.
The saffron party has nominated BJP’s former UP president from Uttar Pradesh and 10 others to the Rajya Sabha.
BJP has nominated Laxmikant Bajpai, Radha Mohan Agarwal, Surendra Singh Nagar, Baburam Nishad, Darshana Singh, Sangeet Yadav among others for Rajya Sabha.
Meanwhile, the Samajwadi Party (SP) has fielded three candidates, including Kapil Sibal, Javed Ali and Jayant Choudhary, from UP.
