bjp: Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi will lay the foundation stone of Shiromani Akali Dal-BJP project. Ludhiana News – Times of India

LUDHIANA: Punjab CM Charanjit Singh channi The foundation stone is expected to be laid for a housing project in Ludhiana, which was announced by the SAD-BJP government in 2011, but nothing had been done on it for 10.5 years – five and a half years under the SAD-BJP and less than five years Congress,
Channi will on Thursday lay the foundation stone of Atal Apartments being built by the Ludhiana Improvement Trust (LIT) on Pakhowal Road, even though the foundation stone of the same project was laid by the previous SAD-BJP government in 2011.
Despite this, the leader of Shiromani Akali Dal and BJP Condemned the Congress leadership for laying the foundation stone. sad And in 2020 BJP split.
BJP district president Pushpinder Singhal said, “The ruling party should have built flats instead of focusing on foundation stones. In case of LIT and Greater Ludhiana Area Development Authority (GLADA), people have to wait a long time for flats despite paying money on time. There is a need to increase the speed of providing flats to the people at the earliest.
He said that Congress has nothing to say in its favour, so it is laying the foundation stone of past works. However, SAD District President Harbhajan Dang while advising CM Channi said, ‘Congress should not worry about this project. It should wait for two-three months and after coming to power we will get the flats constructed.
When contacted, LIT Chairman Raman Balasubramaniam said, “This is a completely new project. Earlier 50 per cent of the flats were to be allotted in a draw and the remaining half were to be auctioned, but now all the flats will be drawn in a draw. Moreover, when the first foundation stone was laid, no proper restrictions were taken and the move by the SADBJP leadership was purely political.
This is the reason why the SAD-BJP could not complete the project in six years, he said. “We have taken all the permissions and it is a RERA-approved project,” he said.
