BJP President Nadda claims, lowest vaccination of Kovid-19 in Bengal; TMC’s counterattack. India News – Times of India

Kolkata: BJP President JP Nadda attacked the Chief Minister on Tuesday. Mamata BanerjeeHe alleged that vaccination of Kovid-19 is lowest in West Bengal and fake vaccination camps are being organized here. His remarks drew a sharp response from the TMC, which claimed that the Center had failed to provide adequate number of vaccines to the state.
Nadda also claimed that “post-poll organized violence” is taking place in the state and though it has a woman chief minister, women are facing atrocities.
Without elaborating, the BJP president said, “If you look at the figures, West Bengal has the lowest vaccination coverage compared to the rest of the country.”
According to a central government website, a total of 2.14 crore vaccine doses, including 48.64 lakh second jabs, were given in the state till 9 am on Tuesday. A state government portal said that the population of West Bengal is around 9.13 crore.
“This is the only state where you will see fake vaccination camps being run. We have never heard of fake vaccinations. Even TMC MPs Mimi Chakraborty Found a jab of fake vaccine,” he said.
Several people, including the mastermind, were recently arrested in Kolkata for organizing suspicious camps where people were given fake vaccine doses.
“TMC government and corruption are synonymous. If corruption can happen even in COVID-19 vaccines, it is happening in West Bengal. It is shameful,” he said.
Nadda alleged that Banerjee also Trinamool Congress The supremo, is “changing its version” on the vaccination schedule every other day, and the state government has failed in this process, although the Center is providing free vaccines to states.
“Mamataji first questioned the vaccination process. Then she asked the Center to allow states to organize their own vaccination programs and buy vaccines. But when she failed miserably, she was the then prime minister. Narendra Modi Announced free vaccination,” Nadda said.
Denying the BJP president’s allegations, TMC state general secretary Kunal Ghosh claimed that the Centre’s vaccination program “is in a mess and it has failed to provide sufficient number of vaccines to Bengal”.
The BJP president is addressing the first executive committee meeting of the party’s state unit after the assembly elections.
Nadda said the post-poll violence clearly shows the failure of the state administration.
He alleged that the Aadhar cards and ration cards of BJP workers were snatched away and the police remained a mute spectator.
“It all happened under a woman CM. There have been a lot of atrocities on women. If women are not safe, then what kind of governance are people of West Bengal getting from TMC?” He asked.
Claiming that there was no post-poll violence in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Assam And Pondicherry where assembly elections were held along with West Bengal, Nadda said, “There was no violence because a party like TMC did not exist in those states. Where there is TMC, there is violence.”
He alleged that BJP offices were burnt at two places, while properties of over 1,300 party workers were destroyed in the post-poll violence in the state.
Without mentioning the failure of the BJP to achieve its much-awaited goal of winning the state assembly elections, Nadda expressed confidence that in the next five years, the party would take a giant leap and form the government in the next elections.
The BJP had claimed that it would win over 200 seats in the April-May elections, but managed to get 77. The Trinamool Congress returned to power for the third time in a row, winning 213 of the 292 seats where elections were held.
“The BJP has come a long way in Bengal in a very short span of time. We had won just two Lok Sabha seats in 2014 and secured 18 per cent votes. In the 2016 assembly elections, we had won just 3 seats and secured 10.16 seats. Percentage vote share. This time we have won 77 seats.”
However, the ruling TMC in Bengal rubbished the allegation of post-poll violence.
“JP Nadda should first calculate the ratio of his visit to the state and the number of seats his party has won. Then he will know that Bengal has rejected him. The allegations of post-poll violence and vaccination are nothing. But There are signs of despair after facing such a defeat,” Ghosh said.
