BJP President JP Nadda will be on a two-day tour of Uttar Pradesh from Monday, in which he will attend several organizational meetings including party booth heads from Gorakhpur and Kanpur. Bharatiya Janata Party chief spokesperson Anil Baluni said Nadda would begin his program by offering prayers at the Gorakhnath temple and then attend several party functions before reaching Lucknow at night where he would preside over key meetings.
Gorakhpur is the home town of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath who is also the head priest of the Gorakhnath temple. Nadda will visit Kanpur on Tuesday.
Assembly elections are due in Uttar Pradesh along with four other states early next year.
