The ruling party on Tuesday said BJP President JP Nadda will be on a two-day visit to Goa from Wednesday during which he will address two public meetings in the state. State BJP president Sadanand Shet Tanawade told reporters that Nadda would reach the state on Wednesday evening.
Tanawade said he would attend the doctors’ meeting called by the party’s medical cell. He said Nadda will address two public meetings at Sattari and Bicholim in North Goa on Thursday.
BJP Medical Cell Goa chief Dr Shekhar Salkar said that Nadda’s interaction with the doctors would focus on the issues being faced by the medical fraternity, which has been at the forefront of the fight. coronavirus Epidemic. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, Health Minister Vishwajit Rane and Tanwade will be present during the conversation.
Doctors from different streams including Allopathy and AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy) will participate in the meeting, Salkar said. Assembly elections in Goa are due in early 2022.
