Bill Gates’ Video Of Giving Tadka To Super Food

New Delhi: Microsoft co-founder, philanthropist and billionaire Bill Gates is currently on his Indian visit, meeting various dignitaries from various fields, including politicians, businessmen, social media influencers. Earlier, he met several dignitaries like RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das, Anand Mahindra, Ratan Tata and IT Minister Rajiv Chandrasekhar at the RBI office in Mumbai and visited the Indian Institute of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Pusa and several other research centres.

Gates now tried to spice up the popular Indian food khichdi with Smriti Irani, the Union cabinet minister in charge of women and child development. The MP shared the video on his official Instagram handle with the caption “Recognizing India’s super food and its nutritional component… When Bill Gates tempers Mr N Khichdi”.

It was seen in the video that Smriti Irani and Bill Gates were in the kitchen where Irani was helping Gates in tempering the khichdi. He heated ghee (Indian butter) in a pan and then added cumin seeds and roasted them lightly till they started to splutter. Finally, she added the tempering to the khichdi in the pan and stirred. He also tasted Indian super food Khichdi.

In his latest blog post, Bill Gates said, “India gives him hope to overcome the world’s challenges in climate change, poverty and malnutrition”. He praised India’s innovation and creation to eradicate various prevalent diseases like measles, diarrhea, and others in low-income countries.

Last month, Gates also shared a video with Eaton, a YouTuber, where he tried to make Indian roti. The former had visited Bihar, India to learn the art of making roti – Indian bread. The YouTuber learned the art from a women’s self-help group. Gates shared the video on his Instagram.
