Bihra: BJP never fulfils promises, says Tejashwi Prasad Yadav | Patna News – Times of India

PATNA: RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav on Sunday criticised the NDA government in the state as well as at the Centre for vast unemployment in Bihar. He said the state was also lagging behind others on all the development parameters. He said the BJP leaders make tall promises during elections, but never fulfil them.
“It is an irony that BJP came to power in 2014 by promising Rs15 lakh in every account and two crore jobs every year, but generated maximum unemployment in Bihar. They again promised 19 lakh job opportunities in Bihar in 2020, but crushed the dream of youths by bringing Agnipath scheme for recruitment on 4-year contract in the defence services,” he wrote on Facebook.
He said this stepmotherly treatment was given to Bihar, which gave 39 out of 40 MPs from the state to the NDA.
He said for eight years, a double-engine government is at the Centre as well as in the state, yet Bihar is at the bottom on all the development parameters. He also demanded development funds for Bihar in tune with its population backwardness.
However, BJP’s OBC Morcha national general secretary and state spokesperson Nikhil Anand said Tejashwi seems to be getting jittery. “BJP is working to overhaul the rotten system established by the Congress and RJD-like parties,” Nikhil said.
